Peshawar Jackets was founded by Bertie Alexander and Jonty Hall with a vision to bring handcrafted Nehru jackets from Pakistan to the UK and beyond. Bertie, who resides in Pakistan, has developed strong relationships with the locals of Chitral—a picturesque city nestled along the banks of the Kunar River in Northern Pakistan.

Our jackets are meticulously crafted using locally sourced wool from the hardy sheep and goats that graze high in the Hindukush mountain range. The wool is dyed with natural ingredients and woven into a strong and durable cloth in Peshawar city before coming back to Chitral to be tailored, ensuring a 100% natural and sustainable process. Each jacket is individually hand-cut and stitched, making every piece unique with its own distinct character—a stark contrast to mass-produced, machine-made alternatives.

The tradition of crafting Nehru jackets in Pakistan has been passed down for generations. These versatile jackets are perfect for all occasions, designed to suit various climates. They provide warmth in winter and, thanks to their exceptional breathability, keep you cool in summer. Whether you’re heading outdoors, dressing for a casual social gathering, or adding a touch of elegance to your office wear, Peshawar Jackets are the ideal choice.

Our jackets, worn by both men and women, feature simple, long lines that flatter all body types. They are incredibly durable and require only minimal maintenance, such as an occasional brush-down.

We are confident you will love your Peshawar jacket and enjoy wearing it for years to come. Explore our collection today and experience the beauty and craftsmanship of 100% natural wool, handcrafted Nehru jackets.
